Mix 1/2 cup (50g) porridge flakes with approx 1-1 1/4 cups (250 - 300ml) lactose-free milk or water. Add a pinch of salt and sweetener if desired. Do not cover. Microwave on full power for 1 minute. Stir and repeat. Cooking times may vary according to microwave wattage.
Pour 1/2 cup (50g) porridge flakes into a saucepan. Stir in approx 1 - 1 1/2 cups (250ml - 300ml) lactose free milk or water. Add a pinch of salt or sweetener if desired. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Hint: Add a tablespoon of raw cacao nibs for a tasty high fibre twist.
