FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS about FIELD DOCTOR Ready Meals
We deliver Field Doctor ready meals to most parts of Mainland UK. Unfortunately we are not able to deliver frozen food to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles or abroad.
Yes, Field Doctor's meals are flash frozen to preserve nutrients and reduce wastage. They will be delivered frozen and must be immediately stored in your freezer until it's time to cook and enjoy!
Your frozen ready meals are packed in environmentally friendly insulating material with ice packs to keep them frozon in transit. They will be delivered by DPD on your chosen delivery day (Tue - Fri). Please confirm your delivery date when checking out and ensure you are at home to accept your parcel and unpack your frozen meals into your freezer.
DPD will email you on the morning of your delivery day with an expected delivery time (1 hour slot). We do not have control over the slot you will be assigned. If you are not in, your meals will be left in the specified location* in an insulated box that will keep them frozen until 6pm on your day of delivery.
* Please specify a safe place in the 'Special instructions for seller' box on the cart page. Alternatively, once the delivery is booked, you can go on the DPD app or website and nominate the safe place to leave the parcel.
A box of 8 - 16 meals makes optimal use of the insulated packing material and ice packs that keep your meals frozen in transit. It is not economical to deliver frozen meals in smaller quantities.
We stock single serve portions. The box dimensions are 17.5cm x 13cm x 5cm, which might prove useful when trying to figure out how many meals you can fit in your freezer.
All the Field Doctor meals stocked by FODMarket are low FODMAP and are approved as being suitable for the low FODMAP diet by Monash University.
Field Doctor's herb mixture is made up of:
70% parsley
18% thyme
6% tarragon
6% sage
Yes, any non-frozen items you buy will be delivered with your frozen items. If your non-frozen items do not fit in the same box, they will be delivered separately. In which case you should see 2 tracking numbers on your order (follow the link from the email you receive after your order is despatched).
