Delivery to UK Destinations
PLEASE NOTE that due to unprecented demand and supply chain limitations caused by the coronoavirus pandemic, we are unable to offer free delivery and have had to change some of our delivery options. Deliveries to England, Wales and Southern Scotland are charged at a flat rate of £3.95. Please see the table below for priority delivery options and delivery charges to other UK destinations. The above rates apply up to a maximum parcel size of 50cm * 40cm * 40cm weighing no more than 15kg.
There may be a variation in charges for remote locations. In such circumstances we will contact you and agree the charges before dispatching goods.
How will your parcel be delivered?
Orders that weigh less than 1.5kg and are not too bulky are classified as "Small Parcels" and will be delivered using 2nd Class Royal Mail. Orders weighing more than 1.5kg will be dispatched by courier unless you select "Royal Mail 1st Class" at checkout.
When will your parcel be delivered?
Where Priority Delivery has been selected and the order is placed before 12pm on a working day, the order will be dispatched with DHL that same day for delivery the next working day. Please note that the DHL Next Day service is not a guaranteed service. Please click here for current anticipated delivery times during the Coronavirus crisis.
On occasion, unforeseen events may result in your parcel being delayed. In such cases, DHL undertakes to attempt delivery the following day (i.e. 48 hours) at the latest.
Where Standard Delivery is selected we aim to dispatch goods within two working days of the order being placed, but it is usually dispatched within 24 hours. In most cases delivery takes place within 2-5 working days.
Delivery notification and tracking
When your order is dispatched you will receive a tracking number by email stating who is going to deliver your parcel.
For Royal Mail, the tracking number can only be used to record final delivery of your parcel. It cannot be used to determine when your parcel will be delivered, but you should expect delivery 3-5 working days after dispatch. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, your parcel will be kept at your local Sorting Office for you to collect. You will receive a calling card in your mail box giving details. If you have not received your parcel within 5 business days of the dispatch notification email, please contact us.
For DHL, delivery should be within two working days after dispatch. If you give us your mobile number, you will receive notification by text. Alternatively you will receive an email. Unfortunately DHL cannot send a text notification to a landline. You will receive two notifications from DHL, one specifying the expected day of delivery (usually the day before), and another allocating you a one hour delivery slot (on the morning of your delivery day). When you receive the notification of your one hour delivery slot, you will be able to reschedule the delivery, or alternatively notify DHL of a safe place to leave your parcel, by clicking on the link sent by DHL at that time. Please note - you will not be required to wait at home for your parcel. If you are not home, DHL will be instructed to leave your parcel with a neighbour and to leave a calling card in your mail box.
For other couriers we expect you to receive your parcel within 5 days of dispatch. You should get notification of the day of delivery, but this is not guaranteed (depends on the courier). Please leave a note on your door asking for the parcel to be left with a neighbour if you are not going to be home.

In some cases, additional country specific import charges/taxes/restrictions may apply. If this is applicable, we will contact you before your goods are dispatched.
Receiving your goods
Delivery of goods must be accepted. Goods must be checked for damage immediately. Any damage must be recorded on the courier's delivery slip or reported by you to us within 48 hours. Should you need to report damage, please email us at Contact@FODMarket.com
Parcels damaged in transit
In the unfortunate event of the package being damaged, photographic evidence may be requested. Unfortunately it is not practical to send replacement items. Instead FODMarket will refund you for any items that were damaged.
Incorrect product sent
We have procedures in place to ensure the correct items are picked and packed when orders are fulfilled. In the unfortunate event that there is a picking error and the incorrect item is sent, we will refund you for the incorrect item. Unfortunately due to high postage costs, it is not practical to send replacement items.
