Delivery to Mainland UK
FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OF SPEND OVER £50*, covering most Mainland UK destinations.
Delivery charges for orders less than £50 have a flat fee of £3.49*, covering most Mainland UK destinations.
Express shipping is available for Mainland UK destinations (excludes Scottish Highlands). Express shipping orders will be dispatched using DHL's Next Day service. Orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched the same day, for delivery the following day**.
There may be a variation in charges for remote locations. In such circumstances we will contact you and agree the charges before dispatching goods.
How will my parcel be delivered?
Parcels that weigh less than 2kg and are not too bulky will be delivered using 2nd Class Royal Mail. Parcels weighing more than 2kg will be dispatched using DHL (unless the delivery address is in Northern Scotland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or International).
Other couriers (either Royal Mail or another courier) will be used for Northern Scotland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and non UK orders.
Unless Express Shipping is selected, we aim to dispatch goods within two working days of the order being placed. Below are indicative delivery times following notification of dispatch:
Delivery should be within two working days after dispatch. If you give us your mobile number, you will receive notification by text. Alternatively you will receive an email. Unfortunately DHL cannot send a text notification to a landline.
You will receive two notifications from DHL, one specifying the expected day of delivery (usually the day before), and another allocating you a one hour delivery slot (on the morning of your delivery day). When you receive the notification of your one hour delivery slot, you will be able to reschedule the delivery, or alternatively notify DHL of a safe place to leave your parcel, by clicking on the link sent by DHL at that time.
Please note - you will not be required to wait home for your parcel. If you are not home, DHL will be instructed to leave your parcel with a neighbour and to leave a calling card in your mail box.
For Royal Mail:
Delivery is usually within three working days (but can be up to five days) after dispatch. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, your parcel will be kept at your local Sorting Office for you to collect. You will receive a calling card in your mail box giving details.
For other couriers we would anticipate you receive your parcel within 5 days of dispatch (unless bound for outside the UK). If receiving from another courier, please leave a note on your door asking for the parcel to be left with a neighbour if you are not going to be home.
Delivery of goods must be accepted. Goods must be checked for damage immediately. Any damage must be recorded on the courier's delivery slip or reported by you to us within 48 hours. Should you need to report damage, please email us at Contact@FODMarket.com
Orders for delivery outside Mainland UK are best handled by sending an email to Contact@FODMarket.com or by using the Contact sheet. This is so that we can quote you an accurate delivery charge dependent on your location, as well as make any other adjustments that might be necessary, for example taxes.
Parcels damaged in transit
In the unfortunate event of the package being damaged, photographic evidence may be requested. Unfortunately it is not practical to send replacement items. Instead FODMarket will refund you for any items that were damaged.
* Maximum parcel size 50cm * 40cm * 40cm and less than 15kg.
** DHL Next Day service is not a guaranteed service. On occasion, unforeseen events may result in your parcel being delayed. In such cases, DHL undertakes to attempt delivery the following day (i.e. 48 hours) at the latest.
