Fodmix (Formerly Quatrase 10.000) contains a specially formulated blend of digestive enzymes, including Alpha Galactosidase, Xylose Isomerase, Lactase and Invertase.

Developed by Intoleran's in-house dietitians, this enzyme mix helps in the breakdown of hard-to-digest carbohydrates and sugars (FODMAPs). Specifically, these capsules are designed to help with the digestion of lactose, fructose, fructans, galactans and sucrose (being all the FODMAPs except Polyols*).

Supplied in a small user-friendly container, the capsules are easy to twist open, allowing the powder to be taken separately or mixed with water, ideal for anyone who struggles swallowing capsules.

Ingredients

Enzyme blend - Alpha Galactosidase (1200 u); Xylose isomerase (7500 u); Lactase (10,000 FCC); Invertase (500 u).

Other ingredients - Filler: Calcium Carbonate; HPMC (capsule).

Directions for use

Take the capsules immediately before or with the first bite of your meal. If you have trouble swallowing, you can open the capsules and consume the contents sprinkled on your food, or dissolved in a glass of water.

Take 1-3 capsules just before your meal, with a maximum of 15 capsules per day.

It is recommended to start with taking 3 capsules before meals. This way, enough of the digestive enzymes enter the body. Should this amount be sufficient, you could try a lower dosage the next time.

The digestive enzymes take effect immediately upon ingestion and remain effective for 30-45 minutes.

These capsules are suitable for individuals as young as 2 years of age.

* Polyols include sorbitol and mannitol and are the sugar alcohols found naturally in some fruit and vegetables and also used in artificial sweeteners.
