Once a Day is a probiotic supplement containing 6 specially selected probiotic strains, containing 10 billion live bacteria per capsule. Once a Day helps with the digestion of the FODMAP lactose found in milk, cheese and other dairy products.
Lactose, also known as “milk sugar,” is primarily found in milk and other dairy products such as cream, custard, quark, mascarpone, yoghurt and certain cheeses. Additionally, lactose can be present in processed meats, chips, cakes, sweets, soft drinks, breakfast cereals, certain medications and dietary supplements. It is important to read food labels carefully - lactose can be listed under various names, such as milk powder, whey, milk sugar and milk solids.
Developed by Intoleran's in-house dietitians, the probiotics in Once a Day create lactase which helps with the digestion of lactose in food. Within 5-14 days after first use, the probiotics will have built up sufficient lactase to allow you to enjoy dairy with just the continued maintenance of one capsule per day. This makes Once a Day ideal for use on holidays, for children and perfect for daily long-term use.
Supplied in a small user-friendly container, the capsules are easy to twist open, allowing the powder to be taken separately or mixed with water, ideal for anyone who struggles swallowing capsules.

Ingredients
Filler: acacia gum; mixture of 6 lactic acid bacteria (10 billion CFU per capsule): bacillus coagulans, bacillus subtilis, bifidobacterium animalis lactis, lactobacillus casei, lactobacillus rhamnosus, streptococcus thermophilus. HPMC (capsule). Antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
Directions for use
Take one capsule once a day at a fixed time. If you have trouble swallowing, you can open the capsules and consume the contents sprinkled on your food, or dissolved in a glass of water.
Take 1 capsule per day. Continue use for 5-14 days after first dose in order for it to become effective against lactose.
These capsules are suitable for individuals as young as 4 years of age.
Please Note: ‘Once a Day’ is a probiotic that may cause slight intestinal discomfort in a small proportion of users during the initial days. This discomfort should resolve on its own within 1 to 2 weeks.
